Glad that Alapati is not in the centre, he has never impressed there! Interesting that Bedlow is at 10 again with Lloyd back but looks like Pat has faith in him. Hopefully Bris can get the season moving this weekend.

Still missing lots of starters but Naulago is getting run out against Ealing.

Unavailable: Harry Thacker (neck), Kyle Sinckler (international), Dave Attwood (leg), Ben Earl (international), Steven Luatua (leg), Fitz Harding (leg), Max Malins (international), Callum Sheedy (international), Semi Radradra (international), Luke Morahan (achilles), Charles Piutau (achilles).

Bristol Bears ‘A’ team to face Ealing Trailfinders at the High Performance Centre on Saturday, November 28th (7pm KO):

15. Freddie Owsley; 14. Toby Fricker, 13. Jack Bates, 12. Charlie Powell, 11. Deago Bailey; 10. Tom Wilstead, 9. Chris Cook; 1. Peter McCabe, 2. Darren Dawidiuk, 3. Jake Armstrong, 4. Ben Bamber, 5. Alex Groves, 6. Charlie Rice, 7. George Kloska, 8. James Dun.

Lloyd and Hughes into the side and Uren on the bench is good news for Bristol. Thought their half backs did well last week, so interesting to see how they shape up.
2 good young hookers on the benches in Capon and Cutting.

He never really impressed there for Wasps either, having been absolutely devastating playing 12 for the Hurricanes in Super Rugby. He's a quality, versatile player to have though, as is POC

He didn't have an ACL for a large chunk of his time with wasps. Went through a big surgery to resolve it, but think that was close to the end of his contract when he got back (or injured again etc).

Why are there so many games on at the same time as the England game? Why doesn't BT spread them across the weekend?

I was wondering that last weekend too.

Surely one game could have been scheduled for a midday kick off today and another one at 1pm tomorrow?

It's not like they need to worry about the impact on fans and attendances!

Not a classic by any stretch and Worcester are a little hard done by not getting anything out of it. The ref seems to have equally annoyed both sets of supporters so probably did ok!

Bris played averagely, clearly missing some of the big names, but definitely missing a real 10.

Lloyd had a great game for Bris and showed he can back up at 15 to C.Puitau and we'll not lose too much.

Worcesters 13, Morris, the pick of theirs.

Bristol’s social media team is top drawer.
