Saw this on Shedweb.

I’m quite surprised by this. I’m sure recently Jonny May conceded LRZ was a little quicker than him, Hogg is fast for sure but that quick? Coka? Faster than Thorley, Adams, and a few others I can’t remember immediately.
Nice that 3 of the top 10 are Glosterites mind

Pace in rugby terms tends to mean an explosive burst over 10-15 meters, which is why the order will look a little odd. Players rarely hit these tops speeds I guess. I'm surprised Hoggys in there though, as I felt he'd lost half a step on where he was a few years back (of course, maybe then he was just blindingly quick).
For a random comparison, Raheem Mostert has clocked in at 23.09 this year in the NFL, with pads and a helmet on.

It seems that this is just the highest speed reached, which may only have been for a second. Still surprised at Hogg’s placement though, he’s got fantastic speed off the mark but in a foot race with May/LRZ over 40 or more I don’t think he’d stand a chance.
Didn’t see whether this is them with ball in hand, some players don’t seem much affected by that and some are considerably slower it seems when running with the ball.

Hard to reach much into this when equipment, weather, surfaces are all unknown as with over what distance pace was sustained, how often sprints were repeated, what the standard of repetition was like...
And you might be about to run the fastest anyone has ever run and then some idiot tackles you, so almost certainly the best results aren't even in the list

Coka is the most impressive given his size. I would say zammit has the most "useful" (see the above few posts) speed for rugby. Radrada's burst to get him through a gap is awesome.

Shane Williams at full speed was slower than some forwards. But his acceleration over the first 10 yards was the key.

And direction change acceleration, Jason Robinson, Kolbe, JSD for example. Given how much kicking there is currently though, line breaks are fewer and further between than a foot race over 60m.
