I've just read on the Leicester Tigers website that the "A" fixture between England and Scotland is to be played in Leicester on Sunday June 24.

A good opportunity for a few players to put their hands up for inclusion in the July Tests. Cameron Henderson, Hutchinson, Dingwall etc.

There seems to be a fair few in the comments of The Offside Line article confirming this match for Mak Wilson too , whoever he is is? Nathan McBeth also mentioned by one or 2.
There's also Ashman (likely to tour with us I'd hazard a guess at) and Bevan Rodd. There is also confusion regarding Arron Reed too, some on Twitter think he's SQ but Kev Millar isn't sure.

Gonna be awkward when both teams name Bevan Rodd.

Is there a possibility of that happening

Heh - I doubt it would get quite that far, although I do remember a Scotland squad announcement a couple of years back where the SRU graphic had been clearly edited last minute to remove a Ben Vellacott sized name and put in Scott Steele out of alphabetical order, just after Eddie talked to Vellacott and convinced him he had an England future.
I suspect there'll be more than a few phone calls going on this summer though, as he's got a genuine connection to both nations and I suspect both will want to secure his services based on the trajectory that his development's on.

Thanks, SCF! I was wondering who'd be first to spot my deliberate mistake

no.
If he wasn't before Rodd is ow well aware that he qualifies for both countries. As an academy play he could not declare for scotland without risking his job. Now he is an established player, that changes. If he is offered a place on tour with scotland he can accept or not. If he is offered a call up by Jones he can accept or not. If he is offered both, timing may be a factor, but he will choose one and that will be the squad he is named in

Anyone seen much of him play? Is he deserving of a spot?

I'd say so. Has started most games since the turn of the year and shown up well.
At 20 there is a fair chance he'd be challenging for the matchday 23 at international level, certainly this summer but potentially beyond when all available. Kebble has been OK at international level and Schoeman has been off the boil for a while.
