First run out for Wasps, but they had pre-season games, unlike Bristol, who have had the real thing.

Bristol looking strong and only really missing Radradra from 1st XV I reckon? Wasps without plenty of guys who'd be starting/reserves.

Bris will be smarting after last weeks game. Expect them to be much more like themselves.

Usually a good game between these sides.

Bristol really lost their way last weekend. Tried to out Sarries, Sarries in the first half which was a really bad call and left Sarries forwards nice and fresh to deal with Bristol when they started moving the ball more. This game shouldn't see that problem as Wasps will want to run it and Bristol will want to get back to their own game. In theory this should be a cracker as it's played on a hard pitch as well there should be lots of tries.

That Wasps pack might just have to many absentees for them to manage though.

Bristol haven't beaten Wasps in years so struggle to see how we'll change that...

Apparently PL said they were unable to practice scrummaging over the summer due to players being away/injured - certainly looked like it..

Jim, You beat Wasps last season.....

the scrum was poor last week but i'm sure it will improve as will their overall game. Wasps really do have a lot of players out.
Has Ryan Mills actually played for them yet?

He has played for us, but very very little.

Has anyone got working streams for this season?
VIPLeague are demanding a log-in now, and aren't carrying all the matches either; whilst Cricfee is just a bunch of dead links.

If there is nothing, I'll just stay offline for 24 hours and watch on Premrugby tomorrow evening

vipbox.tv is what I always use. Only came up late, but it's up.

Thank you.
Unfortunately not showing the Bath v Newcastle match I'm actually interested in; but happy to watch Wasps v Bristol.
I now wonder if RugbyPass have lost the rights to the un-televised matches even overseas

I have noticed that none the streams I've recently watched have been rugbypass, makes me think they've lost it. Which is a bugger.

Lovely second from Crossdale. However our pack is struggling. That said, we're missing a few big names in the pack.

I get the feeling that Robson's cheeky kicking game is going to give the back 3 of a lot of teams some trouble.

3 of Wasps 4 tries have come from players who were in the championship last season. Not bad work :D.

That's a farcical decision to send shields off.

I think it's the right call, and a call I'd like to see more often. Too often there's a brilliant drive well on it's way that gets collapsed and just ends up a pen.

I just wish the first time I see it judged the way I like it, it wasn't against Wasps.

Nah he hit the front of the maul, lost the conysct and got chucked on the floor. That the splinter maul then tripped over his legs is their own fault.

Agreed, but think Dickson and the TMO especially have been very good today.

John Mitchell seems to have done wonders. Far more focussed and switched on over 80 than I can remember for years.

Well that was a hammering. Wasps showing great energy and commitment, defended really well and took their tries nicely. Bris just arent clicking. The timing and accuracy of their play is missing and they look in need of some inspiration.

Didn’t see the game but that really does look like a hammering …

I wonder whether it also puts a slightly different perspective on Saracens’ win last week? I did see that and I thought it was as much Bristol being poor as it was Saracens being particularly good.

Probably too early to say, but Bristol’s inactivity on the transfer front might be coming back to bite them. Siale Piutau, Earl and Malins weren’t replaced and they look a lot poorer for it.

Bristol didn't look good, but some of that could be down to Wasps resolute defence.

I assume sarcasm. Dickson is promoted well above his level purely on the basis he used to be a Prem level player. He's a Championship referee at best.

Wasps really stepped up a level once Gopperth came on. They did look continually dangerous and made the most of the bits of luck that came their way. Bristol played loose and without any real direction. You can't play loose against Wasps because they'll run in tries for fun which they did. Ominous display from Wasps given how many quality forwards they will get back soon.

Bristol really seemed to take a knock to their confidence when Thacker went off. They've got a few very high level players out but enough quality in the squad not to be taking a pasting such as this.
