Front row disparity is stark enough to tell you all you need to know about this match. Good to see Ed Slater on the bench finally, and if we get any ball I fancy our backs slightly. Don't think we have ever won at Sarries, so any kind of BP would be about as much as I can hope for.

Sarries are incredibly confident, as Dom Morris is playing. Outside of the scrums I think that Glos pack can go toe to toe with the Sarries selection.

Just sort of assumed Slater had retired. Good to see he’s still going.

Great result for Glos. That should do their self belief no harm at all.

That’ll blydi well do, first win there for 13 years. Glos the better side all round, immense defence. Think Skivs has got the players in a really good place. Usual Dickson dodgy decisions but equal for both teams. Sarries whinged and bleated far more than was necessary.

How's that different to any other week?

Very good result for Glaws that. Skivs has got them developing nicely, big scalp to take. Sarries don't look so unbeatable at present, at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they missed the playoffs.

I honk a lot depends on the 6N. If they keep Mako, Billy and Earl and Isiekwe continues to be weirdly ignored, they’ll be strong when other sides are weakened.

I’d be very surprised if they miss out on playoffs. Think Leicester and Sarries are almost definites. Quins close to definite but they will lose lots of really key players during 6N’s. Then between Glos and Exeter for the 4th spot for me.

Good point on the 6N. In poor conditions Sarries are good at grinding out wins as well so the combination of the two might help their cause.

It’s not. But I don’t watch them much mostly for that reason. Sarries didn’t offer a lot for much of the game, surprisingly really, no real scrum dominance either. Horrible conditions mind. Glos more used to the plastic pitch perhaps now.

What were the various yellow cards for?

Santiago was a deliberate knock on, Ludlow offside at literally the next ruck, felt that one was slightly harsh as he started off in a legitimate position. Mako for collapsing the maul.

The Mako one isn't surprising given Glaws rolling maul ability.

Two Glaws ones sound a bit tame, I was hoping for a bit more spice in the game to prompt a full game review. Agree sounds a bit harsh to have back to back yellows.

How do you think you'll do during the 6N period?

Meh, we’ll lose May, LRZ, Harris and possibly Hastings. Pack largely unaffected so not too terrible. Think we will do alright, without Harris at 13 though our defensive line loses a lot of potency.
