Under 20s

Scots lead after their first attack. Bollocks. England the wrong side of the ref. Penalties killing any English momentum.

The Scotchmen have a player called "leatherberrow". That is worth a few points.

Arundell says "bugger this" after a period of Scottish pressure and runs 95m to score! 5-5.

What a ridiculous finish by Arundell. Template for the full England side tomorrow - doesn't matter how strong the wind is in your face, if you run at space, you'll do better than kicking the ball in the air.

Blatant knock on from Scots in a series of pick and goes and ref goes "went back". Blimey.

These commentators are thick as mince, but confident with it. Sitting there questioning the TMO decision with, "I can't see how he could possibly have arrived at that decision," when they're looking at the wrong thing entirely. The human forms of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

It's moot anyway, as Scotland's 8 reacts to having his try (rightly) ruled out by the TMO by then scoring one from the base of the following scrum. But I hate commentators acting like the referee and TMO have made a blatant mistake when the problem is just that they're being idiots who don't understand rugby well enough.

I don't think this ref will go to a higher level.

The Scots commentator talking about chest to head when it appears their faces collide is just bizarre.

And they're at it again because apparently neither of these commentators are aware that head on head contacts are a card offence now. "Can't see anything wrong with that, his should was to chest," they opine as there's an upright tackle and very close to being head-on-head.

Makes you value the likes of Ben Kay. Where have BBC got these clowns from?

Yay, England try.

This England kit looks like an unofficial umbro knock off. Oh, what a minute.

The main guy sounds a lot like the radio 5 live main commentator. He's usually innocuous enough as he doesn't tend to offer an opinion

I was thinking similar. The comment "it's good and it's clean", it fucking wasn't. Appalling technique that was as dangerous to the tackler and the ball carrier. You want to be telling any kids watching this is how not to tackle.

Excellent knowledge. I'd been watching on my phone screen off the BBC website, but that tip has just got it onto the living room television. Thank you.

Pitifully casual from England with the mistake that gave the Scots a break.

You know, conceding a try was probably the best result for England there. If it'd come back for the penalty, then it would've been a yellow card for sure and then probably a try anyway from the resulting Leatherbarrow pick and go.

About 30 quid and a few online guides, and anything you find on your phone can end up on the telly via Raspberry Pi, but perhaps a discussion for another time.

Tell you what, our number 5 is ridiculously capable in the lineout. Second time where he's pulled back in a throw one-handed that looked just out of his reach.

Yeah, him and Grayson have been the pick of the backs. Good strong runners and decent lines.

And, as I say that, Arundel puts in another ridiculous run to set up an 80m try.

Loved the England 9 keeping ahead of Arundel as he knows he's going to be overtaken eventually!
