Just astonishing how poor that Bath side will likely be.

Don't understand that Worcester team at all. Aren't half of then not there next season? Why not give some youth a chance in meaningless fixture? Hooker is the one that jumps out most.

While it doesn't necessarily mean anything in the grand scheme of things, I'd imagine there's a decent desire not to finish bottom of the table, so Wuss would probably value a win.

Probably good for the development of Smith not to play with a load of youngsters that are just going backwards as the remaining Bath coaches are desperately trying to prove they deserve to keep their jobs and will be going hard.

as above Bath's results are tricky to reconcile with the quality of their squad.

Yes. They can't get it together. The sum is less than the parts. A far cry from the glory days of Barnes, Callard, de Glanville, Halliday, Perry, Swift, Hall, Robinson, Redman etc. when they were the best club in the land. These things tend to move in cycles (cf. Leicester who were up there with Bath, had a dip for a few seasons, and now have got things together again). The only way for Bath is up. Not sure the new coach, van Graan, is the man to take them there after a fairly uninspired stint at Munster, where the fans are happy to see him go.

Bath are really reminiscent of Tigers a couple of years back. Playing as less than the sum of their parts. Van Graan might not be the greatest coach but his team's are tough and do the basics well. Bath are currently neither of those so that will an improvement for them. Bath's top brass have appointed their own attack coach and not van Graan's, attack seemed to be the issue at Munster with a lack of creativity seemingly their undoing but that Bath backline oozes creativity and class should they get some decent ball and forward support.

Going to be a tough rebuild but turfing out some of those big earners who aren't pulling their weight is a good start this summer (Mr Falatau being front and centre there).
