In fairness, I think Gallagher moved to Munster to chase an Ireland cap. He’s done well for Bath so far.

He was looking very good for Sarries before an injury meant he dropped down the pecking order and then when he got fit the cheating all came out. Munster came in and off he went somewhat unsuccessfully. I thought he might be a handy acquisition for Bath and it's proving so, so far.
Falcons will probably make this tough in the first half but come the second half I expect Bath to pull away.

Watching my first live match since R2.
By gods it's boring
Not terrible, like previously, but just so dull

It’s not exactly the weekends glamour tie.

Oooh look, something interesting has happened.
Joseph on for McConnochie (injury?) But Lawrence goes to wing, not JJ. (ETA, and now Ojomo)
Yes. That counts as "interesting" this afternoon.
NZ v France this is not.

Fairly obvious these are the worst 2 teams in the league. Newcastle just managed to be worse this week. It is painful how little they use Radwan. And it’s impressive to be so obsessed with kicking when Young and Connon are so bad at it.

Falcons do have the annoying tendency of catfishing you into thinking they've turned a corner only then to be shite once again.

Thought Walder would try and get the team to play with a bit more adventure. Doesnt sound like thats the case.

Well he has but again there's no consistency. Smash Bristol, fold against 14 man Sarries, take Saints down to the wire scoring five tries at the Gardens and losing by a point but then fall at home to Bath.
With Dean they were consistently average now it seems you're not sure what Falcons team will turn up.

Yeah. Although it does feel like van Graan is starting to have a positive effect on Bath and the additions of Hill and Lawrence have added a nice extra bit of quality.
I expect Bath to get better, but I don’t know if I can say the same for Falcons.

Yup, TBF Hill and Lawrence would add quality to just about any team.
JvG does seem to have taken us from Dull, incohesive and absolutely terrible to dull, cohesive and terrible to watch.
Meanwhile, the social media have upped their game, even though I don't really care about the rivalry; but this is pretty good (or a well known meme that I'm simply ignorant of)

Yup, that try, and JJ's kick through for Lawrence's try are the highlights - as in, the only things worth watching; highlights package of 1 minute - and only much via showing several angles of the 2 moments.

It is a known meme, but it's a good use of it. Good work by the social media team.

The kick through was Ojomoh wasn’t it?
