The day I boo the kicker is the day hell freezes over though.
This. Union is one of the few "sporting" sports left ( Rassie's utter bullshit aside). Let's try to keep it that way.
I'm all up for innovation and getting more interest in the game. I'll happily exchange banter with the opposition fans but the game is built on respect and that should be be a major USP going forward not tossed a side so we can be more like football. I get the idea of trying to add more atmosphere to club games but the issue with a lot of those is larger stadiums then there are crowds. If you pack more into a smaller stadium the noise concentrates.

Clearly doing something right. Beat South Africa A in front of 26k crowd.
Hard to tell from highlights, but good to see Ibitoye getting involved.

Clever money spinner for Bristol that. Sounds like the 26k were entertained as well.

It was a good night, never seen the place so busy. Loads of SA fans as well. Some issues around queues to get in (lots left it quite late to enter) and for beer, but not un-expected as it was the busiest it's ever been.
From an England perspective Porter was really good, fast accurate pass, box kicks into the right area, and quick to the breakdowns. Ibitoye was looking sharp as well, beat the faster tackler every time and always looking for work.
