Amazing player and it was an act of cruel thuggery that preventing him from starring in the Lions test matches in my opinion. Massive character and the way he handled his diagnosis is beyond words. I'm not sure I would be that positive and be able to do so much good.
A real warrior right to the end.
RIP Doddie, you've gone too soon but thanks for the memories.
