England v Scotland, farewell Sarah Hunter

Post by Mr Mwenda »

I will miss this as I am playing sadly. It's a bit of a shame to miss Hunter's last game. She has long been a favourite player of mine. Not only has she always been such a consistently good player she always looks likes she's having fun when she plays. Good luck in the future, Sarah Hunter.

Scotland have just one back but we've dominated and looked very good considering the players who are missing.

7 conversions missed as well. Was good to see the much better use of the backline than for a while, Aitchison looked good taking the ball so flat.

England's U20s looked really really good. 66-19 over Scotland futures.

Duffy in particular at 10 looked a classy player and hopefully could get capped this six nations if she continues like that. Massively reminded me of Larkham. The kicking style, the langid passing/effortless style, scrum cap, to the line passing. Was a joy to watch and did the chip over the top which she got back herself. She had harder kicks than the girls in the main team and hit 9/10.

Maisy Allen also was brilliant at 7, probably unlucky not to get a spot in the main side. Just a well coached side where everyone looked good. Quiet shout out to Nicola Wythe, came off the bench and just a very fast, very, very powerful forward who smashed through every single first up tackler and looked a force.
