Play France on 11 August, then a midweek game against Western Province, finish against South Africa. Obviously tough opposition.

Tuipulotu & Sela look good prospects in the front row.

I’ve heard on the grapevine that tactic is for everything to go through the loosehead.

I was hoping he was called Marvin, but alas...

11 man bench? Is that the future, if so, junior sides are screwed. That said, I believe sides now have to effectively take three front rows at senior levels.

Another young Bracken plus Mike Friday's lad at SH.

Bound to be a testing game against the French.

Finishes 41-0 to the good guys.

Some serious talent in this U18 crop. Play great heads up rugby with it too.

Enjoyed that! Big win featuring a number of first rate performances. Some of the continuity was excellent and there was a real bite in defence.

Yep, defence was almost the most impressive bit. France had a lot of red zone possession, but we just wouldn't give them the gainline. The accuracy was superb.

I was watching on the supersport site. You might need to register, if replays are available.

Link is here though, which hopefully works

Of note I thought both scrum halves looked excellent, and to be fair the passing in general was really crisp and out in front.

Tuipolotu and Sela look seriously good!

Thought Charlie West looked a good nuisance at 7 too.

Thought Daniell at 6 had a very good all round game. Kpoku was mighty impressive. His defence and carrying were tremendous.

Pretty hard going to pick someone who didn’t have a good game after that performance. Really impressive all round.

Currently beating Western province 33 v 15 at half time. Bit of sloppiness let WP back in.

Toby Baker (12) takes a short line and gets the first score of the second half. 40 v 15

Jack Bracken comes on and scores and then makes a great break and West scores. 54 v 15 with 48 mins gone.

Jeez Bracken looks good!!!!

Huge carry from Toby Baker, then England knock on, WP knock on and Bracken picks it up and scores. Seemed a very short advantage, unless the ref thought it was a rip by WP. He's been very good to be fair. 59 v 15

England turn WP over on our 22, break away, and Bracken scores his hattrick!

England muck up a lineout on WP 22, but recover the ball, out to Angus Hall and he cuts through and scores! 71 v 15 after 60 minutes. Quite the second half so far!

Now Finn Newton is in out wide. England break from their 22 with Tuipolotu who exchanges passs with Friday, before putting a superb grubber into the WP in goal. WP take the drop and Hall beats three before feeding Newton.
