Barbarians vs World XV

Anyone else watch this? A few welsh players involved. Bit of a send off for AWJ who had a lively game and a good performance also from Anscombe at full back.

Aaron Wainwright had a few good moments whilst Patchell put some nice passes in.

Two sides playing barbarians style rugby in great weather. Not a bad advert for the casual viewer

I completely forgot about this on Sunday (not helped by my TV guide giving the show the same prominence as Britain's Favourite Biscuit).

I watched it on demand last night. Two barbarians sides going toe to toe. Great fun, some ridiculous backs playing for the World XV, crazy offloading from everyone, including AWJ. As you say a nice send off for AWJ which he's not going to get from Wales now. Anscombe, Patchell and Wainwright all played well.

There’s a ton of players who have served Wales well over the past decade or more. A testimonial match would be a great send off, but I just don’t see how it’s going to happen in Cardiff.

Just learned that AWJ is planning on playing for both sides in the Swansea vs Barbarians game - first half BaaBaas, and then swapping over at half-time. Excellent use/abuse of his "I'm a retiring legend" privileges!

Could he be the first player to miss conversions for both teams in a single game?
