Good to see Sam Grahamslaw coming out of the Jersey disaster and getting Prem game time. He got good write ups on the loosehead for Jersey last season, a late convert to the front row having played 8 in academy rugby (and possibly for Scotland under 20s).

That's a lot of academy grads for Quins...

If you count Launch, it's 9 of the starting XV, and another 4 on the bench. 6 of the pack, and the other 2 are both EQP. Damn fine work.

I'm not sure you can count Launch as a grad, considering he didn't exactly graduate...

Yeah … big experience/quality gap there. Anyanwu and Beard are decent but untested as a combination and they’re up against a couple of very good players.

Gloucester count Cam Jordan even though he'd already come through the academy and played a Prem game for another club before he joined them.
