What the hell is a Market Harborough lad doing in the Bath academy! Ah, went to Milfield, had to Google that one.

Have they announced the squad for the tournament yet or this to test some of the possibles before the squad is announced?

Which makes sense if they picked him up from school. Just odd that his club was Market Harborough which is the area of the county most of the Tigers players tend to live.

It’d be good to see Coventry back at the top in the next couple of seasons or so. Back in the good ol’ days (60s & 70s) the Cov pack put the fear of God into the opposition!!

Grabbed a couple of tickets to go and watch this as it’s fairly local. Should be fun.

Really, in what way? Not having lived in the Midlands for 25 years, I must be missing the gossip.

Strong Coventry team there. Pellegrini at flyhalf went to the World Cup with Tonga, we all remember Matt Kvesic and Will Chudley from their Prem days. Chester Owen at 8 is former Tigers and has been getting good write ups. Wand at 13 is leaving Coventry this summer with some rumours he's off to a bigger side.

Cov won 54-40. Seems like the u20s came back well in the 2nd half.

Game of two halves. First half was one way traffic. Cov were what they’ve been all season, which is very sharp. Their pack had England on toast and their lines of attack were beautiful. Took most of their better players off at half time and England came back into it. Some of the subs made a big difference.

Miell had a very, VERY long day at the office. Had his arse handed to him over and over again.

Cracking day though. Was Cov’s 150th year celebration game. Great atmosphere. All the England lads spent time galore with all the kids present.

Favourite moment was asking Ben Redshaw (who was there with the wider squad) for a picture with the youngest and he’s just look confused as fuck that anyone knew who he was. He’s a bloody big lad mind.

Conor Byrne scored a solo belter! And Will Chudley has still got it!

I’d assumed that he was retiring when I saw the news.

Miell pulled out injured before the game, the YouTube coverage has Clarke starting at loosehead for England. Not a massive surprise, step up in physicality from age grade to senior rugby can be a jump.

That would explain a lot. Played the full 80 too! Would explain why AOF was on the bench.

Poor sod, getting pumped at the scrum and having to play the full 80.
