Ollie Griffiths has retired, and whilst not a huge shock after his recent cancer diagnosis and multiple injuries over the years, it’s a real shame that he was never able to reach his full potential. When fit, he was an international class back row player who with a fair wind could have become a Welsh regular with a bag full of caps to his name.

Thanks Ollie for your committed service to the Dragons over the years and the happy memories of watching you on so many occasions fight on behalf of a losing cause. Best wishes for the future and your ongoing treatment.

Agreed. He's been incredibly unlucky.
