Scotland right back in this - against the run of play capitalising on a double handling error by France, but back to 1 score game just before HT

France 13 - 7 Scotland

Not really being attentive here, but feels like France could go up.a gear. Hope the jockesses keep making it a scrap.

Yeah, it feels like Scotland are fighting to stay in it, and that France should have another gear, but treating Scotland with more respect than they've earned.

But I'm not sure France DO have that extra gear.
Something's just not clicking for them this year. I know it's been a bit longer, but they still haven't replaced the Sansus-Tremulier axis to run the game (good though Bourdon and Queyroi are). Whilst for the taliswomen up front, Fall seems a shadow of her former self, and RManager seems to have disappeared from the squad.

Yeah, the french have been regressing for a few years now. Which is a shame but does give us a chance of an upset today. I was actually surprised the Irish hadn't overtaken the frogettes after the last WXV

The break that led to the last Scottish penalty seemed typical of this match. Great to see but was really just a moment of magic as the structure wasn't creating anything. Then France stole the ball but conceded a silly penalty. If France stop being silly, they'll start smashing the Scots.

I may have got it wrong about whether France can find another gear.

They (have to) play EVERYTHING through Bourdon, so you should be able to shut her down. Scotland managed in the first half, but lost track of her this last 5 minutes

ETA, it was the arrival of Qeyroi wasn't it? - present a 2nd threat, and suddenly there was space for the first

And after 2 quick tries and the match put to bed, France are playing with their tails up, and immediately secure the TBP

Peculiar start. Wales putting a lot of effort in and England seem to be content to ride it but then stupid errors keeping the pressure on. Not sure i like this massive rotation strategy.

Gosh the Welsh commentator is annoying.

Breach deserves a compensatory try after that oddly disallowed effort.

England pack beating their counterparts like they're owed money.
