What’s the consensus on Elliot Williams?

Doing my usual googling of each player and note that he is both captain and built like your archetypal tighthead lock (and god knows we could do with a few more of those coming through).

He’s very good. Argument over whether he’ll end up in the backrow or lock. Definitely worth keeping a very close eye on. There’s also Laidlaw in the U18s from Quins who is excellent.

He’s got two years at U20s (Williams). Lots of time to develop physically and skills wise. Quins rate him very highly.

Seven tries to three.

Stewart-Harris, Victor Worsnip, Charlie Lawson and Tate Williams scored tries in the first half, all converted by Oscar Talbot.
Krystoff Wood and substitute Matthew Bowler scored in the second. Not sure who got the last England try right at the end.

Apparently England U19 will be hosting Japan at Iffley Road in March and the following month will play France in Doncaster.
