Making a bit of a comeback. Now 10-15 down.

15-15 now. Some good Welsh attacking play, good scrummaging but iffy line out.

15-15 turned down loads of kicks at goal

Neither side can goal kick for toffee.

We've also lost about 40-45% of our line outs which is a real pity.

Game over. Missed the first half but a good second half performance.

I didn't see the game, but that is a good win...Didnt this Scottish side slaughter the English U20's last week? Never an easy task.

Out of a sense of duty I had a look at the England - Italy U20 game just to see how Matt Protheroe got on.

He had a fairly good game until he was substituted in the 66th minute. In the first half he got a charge down and also gave a neat, long, try creating pass. In the second half he displayed some very good tactical kicking out of hand and also a stunning individual break which ended in a lame pass to an Italian. He also missed a tackle for the Italian try. He seems to have good tactical awareness, being able to consider whether to run pass or kick. Overall a good performance without being outstandingly brilliant. It is some time before he gets an England qualification by residence.
