Gavin Henson
Just watched the Dragons v. Ulster. Ulster lucky to nick the draw 32-32. Henson, 35, playing at FH for the Dragons outside a 17 year old SH, distributed beautifully, walloped a few massive touch finders, made a break or two and goalkicked well. He still looks capable of playing for Wales in that form. Seems in good physical nick too.

Re: Gavin Henson
Henson has been a superb signing for us, and I think he could still do well at international level except age is against him. The Fail are reporting that we are signing him for another season which is good news.
As much as it killed his international career by taking time away from the game (and let to ridicule in some quarters) perhaps a few years of not getting 10 bells knocked out of him week in week out will mean he can carry on a bit longer.

Re: Gavin Henson
He has always had a very astute rugby brain and a whole bucket of skills but has learned to use them even more wisely. He will hopefully switch into coaching later as he seems to have stepped up in that area as well.
It has been a bumpy road for Gav...but he is now maybe winning more press for his qaulity of rugby not his outside game antics.
Watching him just makes me think what could have been for him and Wales if only... but I am also glad that he is again getting a chance to show the Welsh public something of what he has to offer and teach and finish on a high note.

A class act on and off the pitch for Bristol, wish he could have stayed longer.

I didn't realise he was still playing. But then again, I learned yesterday that Nili Latu is still going as well.
