Welsh Derbies Round 2
It should be a west is best set of results.. but on their present form the Ospreys are capable of losing as much as they are winning and if the Dragons can stay in contact they could turn this one.
The Scarlets should have too much to offer for the Blues in terms of form but with the Blues at home this could be very tasty.
Both matches on terrestial TV. So its get the beer and munchables ready for hopefully a good afternoon of rugby.
Watched the Quins v Saints yesterday ...North looked like a man returning from injury and Roberts played the best I have seen him in ages.
He wasn't really challenged much by the opposition centres but he certainly looked in better shape than for a while running some good lines particularly with the Quins 10 standing flat and bringing him onto the ball..it was just good to see after some woeful performances.

Scarlets vs Blues is a close game at th moment, but it’s far from being a classic. Far too many errors.

A s you say Sandy it was not a classic. ..but the Blues did enough to win ..they just didn't.
A great performance by Smiler .. a little dissapointed with Dillon Lewis in the scrum phase when he came on ...you just know you have to bind stronly with Clancy on the whistle. Otherwise it was full of errors and spills ...and certainly not much accuracy but for the crowd and impartials it was a tense affair.

150+ yards for Nipper. Was he good or just running in circles?

Good when he was given loads of room to run. Pretty unimpressive the rest of the time.Buggaluggs wrote:150+ yards for Nipper. Was he good or just running in circles?

Well the Ospreys looked good for 15 minutes and laboured for the rest. It was a sign of their lack of strike that the Dragons were not that good but still kept them out .
Most unimpressed.

Not a great game for Nipper. When he had time and space he had some nice touches, but those were fairly rare and defensively it wasn’t a great game for him.Graigwen wrote:Good when he was given loads of room to run. He's got his sidestep down to a fine art. Only problem is he uses it as much in defence as attack.Buggaluggs wrote:150+ yards for Nipper. Was he good or just running in circles?
