Apparently the US ambassador to Haiti has also quitBBC wrote:The United Nations human rights office called the reported comments "shocking and shameful".
"I'm sorry but there is no other word for this but racist", said a spokesman in Geneva.
The African Union (AU) said it was "frankly alarmed" by Mr Trump's statement.
"Given the historical reality of how many Africans arrived in the United States as slaves, this statement flies in the face of all accepted behaviour and practice," AU spokeswoman Ebba Kalondo told the Associated Press news agency.
In Botswana, the US ambassador was summoned in a letter and asked "to clarify if Botswana is regarded as a 'shithole' country".
The US ambassador to Panama resigned, according to Reuters news agency, telling the State Department in a letter that he could no longer serve in the Trump administration.
In Haiti, Rene Civil, a left-wing activist, demanded the US president apologise "before the entire African continent, as well as before Haiti, the country whose blood has been used by ancestors who have served with their minds and bodies to liberate the United States itself from slavery".
In Nigeria, one resident in Lagos told Reuters news agency: "Calling [every] African country shithole is really, really, very bad and I think every African country should just learn from this and probably just stay in their country and work with their resources."
In South Africa, ANC deputy secretary general Jessie Duarte said: "Ours is not a shithole country and neither is Haiti or any other country in distress. And it is extremely offensive for President Trump to make statements about other countries that are really not complimentary of the US's position or policy positions on those countries."

I wonder if there we will see more people quit or be fired from the WH, or the administration in the coming days.
The leaks keep coming and president tantrum is only stoking the flames every time he tweets, talks, folds arms...everything he does seems to fail.
Must be such a toxic environment to work.
Doesn't really come as a surprise given how much effort Trump has made to make the environment more toxic for everyone else with his energy and environment plans.

There are publishing rights for the Commonwealth? surely UK, NZ, Aus, India etc all have their own say in the matter.
ETA: Yup, apparently genuine; in which case, I hope their ready to rush it to the shops tomorrow if Trump threatens them.

From the extracts I’ve read from Woolfe’s book Old Spicy Sean isn’t too complimentary about Bigly. After one conference where he had to defend the Trumpet he was heard to say ‘You couldn’t make this shit up’. I’m looking forward to reading it, I’ve just got to get through Shipman’s ‘Fall Out’ first. I might just about finish both in time for Spicer’s blockbuster.WaspInWales wrote:x amount of pages of kissing Trump's arse?Mellsblue wrote:This should be gooooood:

But what if Spicer's book comes out and he is nothing but loyal to tiny hands? This will surely help some people discredit Woolfe's book. I'm sure there will be a few paragraphs where disagreements, or clashes will be covered, but I think it will be an effort by Spicer to further his nose in Trump's arsehole.Mellsblue wrote:From the extracts I’ve read from Woolfe’s book Old Spicy Sean isn’t too complimentary about Bigly. agreed, having seen the interest in Wolfe's book; if Spicer wrote one long arse-lick, he'll be busy rewriting it now.Mellsblue wrote:He could kiss his arse but if he wants to make bigly bucks he’ll make it explosive.WaspInWales wrote:But what if Spicer's book comes out and he is nothing but loyal to tiny hands? Why would anyone kiss his arse at this point? He clearly is not behind the wheel. I mean, how big a cunt can you make of yourself to global audience. He is an utter joke and Hucky Boo Boo covering for his bullshit is cringeworthy. I say out with the dirt Spicemaster 3000. What is Trump going to do? Send Eric and Don Jr around to fuck you up?

On this, there have already been quite a few neutral US political commentators who have already discredited a fair few sections of the book. Though, it’s points of fact rather than arguing against the over arching theme of rank incompetence.WaspInWales wrote:This will surely help some people discredit Woolfe's book.Mellsblue wrote:From the extracts I’ve read from Woolfe’s book Old Spicy Sean isn’t too complimentary about Bigly. All fair points fellas, but this is Spicer we're talking about. The man is a complete fucking idiot.
Most people with that amount of access to Trump would have dollar signs in their eyes when contemplating writing a book on the subject, but again, this is Sean fucking Spicer.
Period.

If British security get to me, they'll probably join in themselves, whilst if it's the American SS, then at least I've got white skin, so I should be safe from bullets.
Of course, in all seriousness, I'm lying anyway; I do'nt possess a compost bin; wouldn't travel to London to protest, and wouldn't actually throw rotten fruit at him even if I did.
Possible a bit too subtle for the man child though. Maybe just some old bloke with a well trained dog that could curl out a nice turd as the presidential motorcade headed past.

Masses of people calling him a wanker is far more likely to hit a nerve...which explains why he has cancelled his trip.

Yeah, 'cos the intelligence, poise and understated sophistication with with Trump conducts himself totally refute those claims.

oh, I agree entirely. Unfortunately, that requires a hell of a lot of organisation and self-control; and we live in a country that can't manage a minute's silence, so go with a minute's applause instead as it's harder to spoilSandydragon wrote:I’ve always thought that a more effective approach would have been for a really sizeable crown that just turned their pack on him as he drove past.
