The Rugby Rebels think tank shows it’s influence once again.

For those who haven't seen, Raggs has done the analysis on the Quins vs Wasps game and I was wrong about Willis rucking on Wasps ball. I only started paying attention in the last 20 when the game was won and he was clearly looking for carries, but before that he did put his shoulder in to protect their ball.

Messiah status back on!

I think he's missed the boat. Has to now rejoin the back of the queue with Mercer and Simmonds behind the mighty whats-his-name Moore.

Don't forget the 'yet-to-debut' Graham.

Interesting to note that the terrible loss to the English game that is Jake Polledri has actually yet to be needed by Italy. I think the RR think tank do get a bit dog-in-the-manger over players sometimes.

Polledri did make a couple of enormous carriedsagainst Tigers at the weekend. Not saying he should play for England, mind.

Blimey, yes. He must have impressed at training. Probably got floored by Harry

I was probably the main ‘dog-in-the-manger’ you’re referring to.

I still think Polledri would be a real asset and I’m amazed the Italians haven’t taken the opportunity to cap him. If we can have him, I’d be happy as I think he’ll get better and better.

Presumably no chance of Mercer on the bench then ...

Isiekwe goes but Ewels stays? That's the only bit that surprises me

First Kruis now Isiekwe. I just don't get it. Ewels looks a league below these two

Isn't Ewels supposed to be a natural leader? Eddie's big on strong personalities and leaders. I suspect some players need game time at their clubs to

I'm happy, as is my eldest. We are off to see Sale v Sarries on Friday. Hoping to get a photo of him (8 years old) stood next to Skelton.

Watson and Farrell are slight doubts with minor leg issues. Neither took part in contract training yesterday. Daly has had a setback after being declared fit.

I don't wish injury on anyone, but it would be fascinating to see what would happen should Faz not be available.

Or, to a lesser extent, Ford or Care!

much lesser extent, Faz has become pivotal on the field as chief shouter and fulcral to our 'finisher' strategy.

Though losing Care would be absolutely fascinating.....Wiggy (Wiggle to others) to start, Nigel Starmer-Smith to bench?

Get you and your fancy words.

How did people think our attack shape went on Saturday after Ford went off? Or was our attack before and after both so poor and short on possession it's redundant to even ponder?

Not sure we had much ball after Ford went off, so the latter.
