And trained with the full England side over the weekend. Worthwhile seeing if we can get a last minute England A game going so we can get him in that for the full house?

Rouban Birch should be fun to watch. He’s a winger that converted to lock.

Yikes - you'd have thought a stint in the back row would be a sensible transitional step

In terms of squad this is a seriously talented year group!! Don’t pay much attention to results as they will just swap the squad around. It’s all about play, exploration and decision making not winning.

The ones I’d most look out for:
Birch
Capon
Ma’asi
Martin
Tuima

De Glanville
Lawrence (seriously good!!)
Redpath (obviously)
Spink
Vunipola
Wilkinson

Just noticed a couple of names that skidded by me before: Sam Maunder, who is supposed to be better than Jack (which considering how highly I rate Jack, is impressive) and Rus Tuima, a big no 8 from Exeter who is brother to England women's Lagi Tuima and nephew to Akapusi Qera, so some pretty good genes there.

A quick google tells me Lawrence is playing for the U20s this weekend. What's he like?

Yep! He’s a proper talent! Can play 12 or 13 equally well though I think he’ll end up outside more often than not. He’s got a very classy game already and Wuss have another diamond that someone else can take off their hands in a couple of years.

Loads of changes after the French game (which we lost). I imagine the plan is to give everyone in the squad a go.

Tigers do seem a bit under represented considering the season they enjoyed.

good win 42-14.

Capon and Petch very good in the front row, deGlanville looks a classy player and Lawrence is the next in the JJ/Marchant line.

Just watched the highlights. Some lovely rugby on display. Centres looking particularly promising.

Ollie Lawrence looks genuinely excellent. He’s already played (and scored) in the AW Cup so I’m looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

Jack Reeves has looked great in the U18 highlights but that’s I have to go on, so it’s harder to judge.
