Will be happy with Priestland against Scors. Rather not rush Biggar back.

Hope he really s ok. I think Priestland could do the job this weekend without risking Biggar for the following games.

Biggar, I suspect, would have slotted the drop goal. If, buts and maybes and all that though.

he wouldn't have needed to had he slotted the penalty he missed before coming off.

My brother says his kicking has been iffy all season since he came back from the world cup

Seriously hope he is fully fit. I did wonder if Priestland would get the nod just in case.

I suspect not, hence selecting both Priestland and Anscombe on the bench.

I am half expecting a reaction in the warm up and Priestland to start

Sad, but true. Hope he can work out what's wrong, and fast.

I think composure is the key attribute here. Priestland sometimes has it. Biggar usually has it. Biggar's kicking has indeed dropped off the summit from the World Cup, and 4/4 was a decent effort from Priestland; but I'd sill give Biggar the ball if everything hung on one kick. Biggar is good not just at striking drops, but at getting them set up. It may be unfortunate and unfair, but to me Priest never looked like he wanted the ball for those drop-kicks.
