While the press release that accompanies the pictures is a bit nauseating, I quite like both of those. Can't agree with you on the away strip - last season's was an offence against eyesight, whereas this is bordering on tasteful.

Is it just me, or has no-one got a really heinous kit in the Prem this year? Makes a nice change.

The home kit is cool. Should sell well with the kids, too. Am I right in thinking the shark motif is luminous?

It is quite a good year. Northampton’s is fairly ugly but there is only so much turd polishing you can do with those colours. Considering they share their supplier with the Scarlets they should be very happy with what they’ve received.

I like the new Sarries kit. No messing around, just some simply detailing:

I'm not saying you're running behind the rest of the board, but even Owen Farrell's just run through the dog leg you've created. :D

Now that I think on it I've not seen a new Moseley kit, but I assume the colours will remain something of a constant. As an aside I'm still yet to wear a piece of Moseley apparel I got for Christmas, mostly because instead of being called a tracksuit top it's called an urban varsity zip hoodie, and I'm left stuck on the Bill Hicks take on marketing

Bedford are releasing their new kit this weekend. Let’s hope it’s better than this monstrosity from five years ago:

Jesus. I’m sure as late to this as I am to everything else, but I’ve just seen the fluorescent green thing in our away kit. What is it that attracts teams to this? There were about 5 or 6 of them last year and for some reason we’ve now jumped on he bandwagon.

Ugh.

That Northampton kit is not the best. Is red/maroon in any way associated with the rugby club or town? Somewhere in the back of my tiny mind I think the football club play in maroon?

These are Bedford’s. Highly inoffensive, which I’ll take as a win.

I think its a massive step up on the previous lollipop lady fluorescent job.

I think when they say they are "Taking the Town" with them, they're referring to the football team who do have that shade of red. Don't really know why they'd want to link to a lower division football club, but hey ho.

I think you've done well with Bedford's.

Apparently red was Saints' first ever colour! Certainly news to me.

I agree it is less offensive than last seasons offering, but it just doesn't look like a Saints shirt to me. I quite liked the mainly white, but with green, black and gold bits from (I think) 2016/17 - but other than that all our recent away offerings have been pretty dire.

England’s World Cup kit. Can’t make my mind up whether I like it or not. The change jersey is rank and looks like a training top mixed with and old England football kit but stick a collar on the ‘home’ jersey and I’d be happy with it. I’ll reserve full judgement until I have confirmation of sock colour.

No shirts have collars now do they? Is it a safety issue or fashion?

What is going on with the weird collar stripe on the home shirt? And why are we wearing a training top for the away one (which will get used as we're playing Argentina and USA)?

You'd've thought it quite hard to screw up a plain white shirt and an away kit that just has to be a solid colour of "not-white", so it's very impressive from the RFU design buffoons.

A few interesting ones released already: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rug ... d-16512223 . That article also shows some more angles of the home kit, which makes me like it more. The away is still rubbish though.

I'm actually very taken by the Japan one. I recoiled at first, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
