Do we have an attack coach?

How is it possible to make so little of the number of good runners we have?

I'll take the draw as it stands.

Move Finn to 10, and get Dunbar on. We need someone a bit more direct.

Would you bring on G Horne now? I’m not sure I would.

No. It's just an observation & I think this play is coached anyway. We've dug this hole for ourselves and we'll need Laidlaw's boot to get out of it.

Agree. I think we need to change something tho. Maybe Russell to 10 and Dunbar on. Also Skinner on for Gray, who doesn’t appear to be having his best game. Neither has Gilcho tho.

I don’t disagree we need it but has he been offering that?

Maitland has been our best player and deserves the score. Simple, basic rugby - Hogg draws the defenders and releases Maitland. Nothing fancy or complicated needed at all.

Laidlaw deserves a bit of credit there as well... bit of a 'dummy' before choosing to release Hoggy on the blindside at that ruck. Caught the argies unaware.

That's a yellow there surely? Whoever kicked on at around 69/70 mins took an arm to the face when chasing their kick.

What a load of shit. At least we know Italy’s game plan for the first game in the 6 Nations.

Dunbar is actually quite sh*t at defending for someone who gets touted as a defensive leader/captain.

How long has Danny Wilson had with our forwards? We've been fucking terrible at the breakdown this entire series.

Considering Hoggy was enquiring about taking the kick we look like a bunch of morons. With him it would have either likely gone dead or been 3 points and the game.

Our reliance on Laidlaw is just retarded.

Oh look. MOTM as I speak.

I feel like we’ve regressed. “Control” and goalkicking that are great but forgetting the other half of the game where we’re failing to put any kind of pace into our attacks.

What a lot of shite. The whole series. I've no idea what Toony has learned by constantly changing things.

Agree. I can’t quite remember the sequence of events in the South Africa match or whether we had an advantage but there was a period where we went for a line-out instead of 3 points, then about 2 minutes later Finn Russell is having a crack at a drop goal.

Arguably, we won that because Argentina’s game management was even poorer than ours.

He was never MOTM. Maitland was our best player. Ritchie best forward.

9 points missed and a knock ons galore after breaking our line from Argentina. Any other SH team or 6N team bar Italy would have shafted us today.

Hard to be good at the breakdown when your runners are getting nailed at/behind the gain line.

Watching the Wales game is reminding me of how far away we are from the top table. If you score against them (or Ireland & other teams) - you know damn well you've earned it. There's no botched lineouts, fumbled restarts, hail mary plays in the red zone or unforced knockons. No gifts.

Poor. But a win. Maitland is good. Solid and strong and smart. Did jonny Gray move here during the week?
