You know it's been a good day when there's still no "Changes for Scotland" thread at midnight...

Yeah, though I am hoping Patchell gets a chance. Not that Biggar had a bad day...

Is that just how much we've regressed?

Strangely I can’t see any changes being made, although I still think Biggar and Anscombe are the wrong way round, although yesterday did work out perfectly.

I'm really not sure which is the better option. As you say, yesterday worked. I can't see Biggar having got much more joy out of that 1st half England defence, while Anscombe would surely never have had the stones to do what Biggar did; three assists in two tries, FFS!

Anscombe keeps struggling against good defences. Against my better judgement, I STILL want to persist with him for fear of shrinking back into our comfortable Warrenball shell in a WC year. I don't think Anscombe did badly yesterday, he kept us in the game with his goals and didn't look out of place at any stage; but Biggar keeps coming up with the actual scoring / winning plays.

My instinct says Anscome / Biggar when we're underdogs - or at least expecting to struggle up front - and Biggar / Anscombe when we're favourites and fancy our chances of late space.

The title wasn't intended as a dig at Scotland, simply a comment that the "What next?" threads pop up pretty quickly on here when we've played badly and/or lost. :-)
