His appearance at Quins is a concern. He might be lining up something else before being given the elbow. That would be a shame, because the Dragons have been nice rugby, despite a series of narrow losses.

I would have thought Quins would be aiming a little higher then Lyn to be fair.

Ive actually been reasonable happy with his performance. Considering our lack of resources, the youth of our team and some long term injuries, we have been close more often than not and lost games in the last minutes having been competitive. I don't think Lyn going would make a huge difference. We need some better and more experienced players. Some of the younger players coming through are doing very well, but would benefit from experience and quality.

I'm not convinced that any other coach would do significantly better at the moment. If his heart isn't in it then he should go, equally there have been a number of reasons put forward about this, so it could be above board. I suppose we will find out in due course.

Lyn has now left "by mutual consent"

Left before he was pushed or does he already have something else lined up?

It's not even worth reading the Wales Online article. It's just a load of insincere platitudes. The real truth lies somewhere else.

So is Kingsley going to fill those shoes?

Agreed, they are speculating. The only fact is that he is leaving, why we will probably find out in due course. I'm not going lose sleep over a manager who wants to be somewhere else, best of luck to him, he has definitely done some good at RP.

On the other hand, Kingsley Jones is now in charge. Ho hum.

Clueless, they'd be better off with Nigel Davis.

I was expecting that. I can't see us getting a competent coach until the ownership issue is resolved.

Wouldn't having a quality coach attract investors?

I think the idea is that any investor would have ideas on who should coach, so tying up a coach on a long contract would nhibit that.

I'm trying to care what happens to them, but it's very difficult.
