Looks good. He looks like he’s got a good mix of boshing ability and footwork and seems to have good decision-making skills (the assist for the try against Bath was my favourite bit of the video).

Don't listen to them, KK. It's good to have you back.
We've all been taking far too much sh*t from Raggs on here recently with you gone.

Nah, whether he maintains his focus on being Father Jack in real life isn't known, but around here it's a fair take on his roleRaggs wrote:Ok, so I'm not missing some joke or something then. Interesting (I think) thread with some interesting titbits, not so much the last one.
And an interesting follow up showing just how ridiculously good Pocock is a winning turnovers:

Exactly why Itoje is such a great player to have at lock; this and his restarts are world class. along with workrate. He could do with STFU tho

This. Marx and Creevy are not too shabby either, hookers ffs. It would be interesting to see how Pocock compares with the all time greats down the years. I'd bet he'd be right at the top of that list too. Can't wait to see Jack Willis at international level to see if he replicate his work at that level.Timbo wrote:Pocock is/was a machine.

Jeeze, with that kind of record, EJ better stop playing him - Farrell will be getting worried otherwise

That is all a bit Chris Paterson with kicks within the 5m channels and no great distance, obviously it's good he's making them and I'd pick him anyway, but it's not the same as really impressive kicking

Re: EPS Watch / Player Form Thread
Those are just his last 10 - his recent record includes ones from the touchline and from 45m out and I believe he also had an 86% strike rate for Leicester this year as well. He's turned into a very fine international goal kicker - all the more so when you consider that it was this time three years ago that we played Wales and he fell to pieces with 1 from 9 attempts, even missing one straight in front. The improvement in his mental strength is very impressive.Digby wrote:That is all a bit Chris Paterson with kicks within the 5m channels and no great distance, obviously it's good he's making them and I'd pick him anyway, but it's not the same as really impressive kicking

Even with a fear he'd slip back I'd still pick him at 10.

like Owen really, but without the garish misses. Faz similarly has limited range.Digby wrote:That is all a bit Chris Paterson with kicks within the 5m channels and no great distance, obviously it's good he's making them and I'd pick him anyway, but it's not the same as really impressive kicking

The two conversions on the left are exactly where Faz has a habit of missing kicks from.

I do think Faz a better kicker for goal, a better technique, a little more distance, perhaps more composure. I'd still pick Ford on balance thoughBanquo wrote:like Owen really, but without the garish misses. Tiny bit on distance. More composure, not convinced. Yes and Ford does have better balance.Digby wrote:I do think Faz a better kicker for goal, a better technique, a little more distance, perhaps more composure. In fairness neither are anything like in the top tier of intl kickers amongst even contemporaries.
