We need to score a converted try in the next few minutes or else I can see Ireland running away with this

It wasn’t clear and obvious not to award it.

Big moment there. Ten minutes plus of pressure and no points.

I don't really understand why the tmo fails to resolve things satisfactorily in rugby union.

This kick chase game is really not what we should be doing right now.

Ten minutes of pressure without scoring is probably the bigger issue. Although I still think that was a try but theme the breaks.

Oh FFS. This is pretty poor. Far too many errors to be competitive.

Utterly anonymous in the second half. Not too lively in the first either.

Can’t say Ireland don’t deserve the bonus point.

No idea why you turned down 3 points with 20 to go, though we were similarly inspired last weekend

Pointless yellow. He’s been doing that all match.

Our props did better early but they just couldn’t take the pressure. We need a big rethink.

Solid humping. Not sure if Ireland were 10 points better. Not sure if we were only 10 points worse. Odd game. Our total lack of midfield nous is a problem. Losing Biggar and Adams didn't help but certainly wasn't the reason for the loss.

Not too many front row options. We are missing Francis so we have to take that on the chin. The breakdown was more annoying as whilst I do feel that Ireland got away with quite a lot, there were also occasions when a player went into contact without support.

We looked far more dangerous in attack with Evans. But by that point we also looked to be pushing the game and we made too many mistakes. I do feel Ireland we’re lucky not to get a yellow earlier and that try should have stood. But we had enough attempts to score and we managed to continually screw them up.

Game management was poor. 19-7 down with 30 mins to go, I say take the easy 3s on offer. 19-10 or even 19-13 puts pressure on. I get it. If we had got the try to go 19-14 its all gold. But...play the odds. Take the facking 3s when they're given.

Put ourselves under pressure defensively with mistakes right from the off. Also managed to ruin any momentum offensively.
Small margins though - if our try was allowed and the Ireland's disallowed my aunt would be my uncle..

Complete reverse of last year's game. Last year we put Ireland under pressure form the off. This year it was our turn to get the squeeze. If anything, the score flattered us a bit.
