Yeah I can see this getting pretty grim very quickly.
Somehow even less atmosphere than the previous game. Maybe that’s just the sound, as the commentators are considerably louder than any of the action on the pitch.

The crowd noise is horribly out of sync with what's happening on the field

This crowd noise is actively detracting from the game

Ridiculous tackle really. His height was going to hit anyone bar a lock in the head.

No mention of the player knocked sideways, it's tough.

Re: Ita v. Eng - Match Thread
Why is it a yellow? He would have hit him in the chest, the guy fell, he hit him in the shoulders and slid up. I really don't see it as particularly dangerous.
But jeez, apart from the try, we look awful.

I think a few of us were looking forward to England playing at least some rugby.

Indeed. We're just appalling. I mean, we knew what we needed to do and this is what we end up with? Jeez. Utterly clueless.Mikey Brown wrote:Anyone else wondering why they were excited about watching this?

HT 5 - 10.
Eng with the points, but Ita on points.
Eng. still opting for kicking the ball away in the main.
