It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Lovely simple line by McMerwe gets us on the board. No idea why we manage to complicate a simple game so much.

That is a BEAUTIFUL try from Italy. WFD getting steamrollered created that opportunity but they still had so much to do to finish it.

Ok in fairness that was a great Italian try. Missed tackle for Weir to open it up just as I was thinking he's had a good opening 20

Amazon evidently a few minutes behind. Getting messages from those listening to the radio which means you know what's going to happen

Duncy Weir stinking it up.

If he could just play like Duncy Weir rather than trying to play like Finn Russell he would be Ok. But silly shovel passes leading to interceptions are not the way forward.

Really noticeable how much we're missing Ritchie. He's so much more of a nuisance than Haining and on this evidence offers at least as much going forwards.

Game is still there but it's on Toonie to earn his salary at half time. Some form of discernable game plan would be nice.

As usual, seething about individual mistakes, but bottom line is Italy have better structure, planning and execution in their play and are simply outplaying us right now.

11-9? I know that Weir is playing but we definitely scored a try.

Nice by Gabby to bring that one up to Havana.

It's on Toonie.... I feel like the debate on his coaching will not be put to bed by this performance. We were flattered by the result against a poor Welsh team last time out, and are now being outplayed by the Italians. Big 2nd half coming up.

Just seen the missed tackle by Weir.

Few talk about it but Finn is a great defender and rarely misses. We miss him on thay side of the ball too.
