Re: Wasps v Saints Sat 1pm
Bit gutted Wasps have changed up their 9 from last week, he really did them no favours against Quins.
Very happy to see Ollie Sleightholme back in the Saints side - he's a good combative winger. Good to see Freeman given the start after impressing off the bench last week - another youngster with good potential. My main concern is Waller and Hull starting again, our scrum was much improved with van Wyke and Painter last week.

Tommy Freeman is very impressive so far - some very intelligent touches in the build up to Adendorff's try

TMO must have had a bad night out in Coventry.

I think both TMO interventions are fair. I was annoyed that the ref missed Brookes going in to clear out Matavasi with no wrap then pulling him off by his head when it happened right in front of him

The Gaskell thing in slo mo I think was unreasonable. Yes he hit after the pass, but he was running in that direction.Adam_P wrote:I think both TMO interventions are fair. If you want to hit a player without the ball in the back with your shoulder you have to accept you might see 10 on the bench

It was nothing in real time. TMO trying to make a name for himself.Adam_P wrote:If you want to hit a player without the ball in the back with your shoulder you have to accept you might see 10 on the bench

By making a call in the middle of the pitch that doesn't really make a difference to the game? SureI R Geech wrote:It was nothing in real time. Anyway - based on that half and last week Wasps seem to be on a pretty horrendous downward trend of form. Oghre has looked good though, can't think of any others really making an impact for them.

I honestly can't remember Gaskell doing anything before he got sent off so not a huge lossI R Geech wrote:Other than getting another player carded. Isiekwe seems to have brought the over exuberant celebrations with him to Saints

Re: Wasps v Saints Sat 1pm
What on earth was Tuala doing not tapping that into touch at the end?!
Don't know what happened to Saints after half time, intensity dropped off and started making loads of stupid errors. Paul Hill was very impressive in the scrums when he came back on for Franks though

Saints very good in 1st half but went AWOL after h/t. I do like the look of Freeeman at FB.
Wasps missing a few too many players and struggling for their usual fluency.

I think it'll be worth exploring Furbank at 10 with Freeman at 15 long term

Freeman looked more impressive in the first 40 mins I've seen him play than Furbank has in all of his minutes.
