Ah, yes. Seems slightly odd at first glance but maybe there are other injury considerations within the squad that make swapping a centre for an 8 more logical.

Shame for Fagerson who seems to be pretty consistently good these days. I hope this doesn't knock him off his stride too much and doesn't end up rushing back for (pre)season.

FFS. I`ve often wondered about Welsh injury assessments.

Any penetrating eye injury needs URGENT specialist ophthalmic care.
Longer term problems (with the companion eye) can occur if the damaged eye is left in situ. if the eye is not restorable it`s probably better to remove it.

Having the eye removed will NOT classify the patient as partially sighted or physically impaired, unless vision in remaining eye is affected.

Sad story in all depts.

It is pathetic that we was left to drive to see the doctor on the day of the injury. In fact it is negligence.

Jake Kerr has got a permanent contract with Bristol - good on him. Cherry has shown where you can get to if you hang around in the pro game long enough and Kerr is only 25.

He is currently on the team vs Bordeaux Begle and they doing well, leading 17-3.

For those of you who speak French (Adder, for one) , here's a rather surprising video of former France winger/fullback, Jean-Baptiste Lafond who considers that the problem with Racing is .............. Finn Russell. He accepts that the player is a genius, but with the degree of unpredictability you get with Russell, it's not ideal for Top14 rugby.
I don't necessarily agree with him, as a player like Russell, unpredictable he may be, has the key to unlock tight Top14 defences. Racing are currently 2nd having played 4, won 3 and lost 1, and as sure as night follows day, there'll be in the end of season play-offs.
