Forum compliments

Post by Scottish Caley Fan »

Hi guys/girls, as you probably know, I'm new to the forum (I think lol), so I thought I'd post this to say that I am really enjoying the experience of being a member, though I don't often post unless Scotland are playing :P.

I am still neutral and will probably stay that way but I do watch the Gallagher Premiership highlights each Monday because I like the banter between Mark Durden-Smith and Flats and also just to see how the Scots are performing.

I also try and watch as much Edinburgh/Glasgow games as I can on Premier Sports just so I can get up to speed with the laws of the game (I still struggle with this ahaha) and the youngsters that are likely to break into the Scotland team in future.

I also watch YouTube videos from The Rugby Analyst plus Blogs: Kev Millar, Blaze of Glory etc.

I'm not sure if this is OK to post here so if not, feel free to move it mods.

It's only August but already I can't wait for the Autumn tests :).

Good to hear and same here. It's always good to get new members, especially on the Scottish Board. I think most of us probably agree on 90% of Scottish rugby matters (the odd Finn Russell related bickering excepted) so new voices are refreshing.

Yup. Really not sure how many members we have. We used to have a lot more, I come and go depending on life. Last year during pandemic I could see rugby far enough but the 6N brought it back which was nice.

Good to hear. Don’t know how many members there are either, but I like coming here to post something wildly optimistic or just to let off steam.

Don’t worry about the rules - a few of our forwards don’t know them either.

I’d also recommend the thistle podcast for something to listen to if you like that medium for content and “narrative”. Some people also like the Scottish rugby blog podcast. The offside line is good for news and what have you.

I can’t remember if it was you who was asking a while ago about how to get tickets, but there are a few available at the moment for the autumn tests. You may have to have some sort of membership to access them, but the website will give you the info.
