Quite a few missing from both sides, tough to call but we should be winning the majority of our home games if we are to challenge top 4 this season.

Interesting back row from Wasps. TWillis wearing 6, Barbeary at 8 (which I think is a better spread of responsibilities if you're planning on trying to fit both of them into the same back row). Makes sense so far, but Shields at 7 doesn't look right, especially when there's JWillis on the bench.

I mean, Exeter are setting the bar pretty high for unbalanced back rows this weekend, but that just doesn't look right to me.

There’s plenty of time for us to fuck this up yet. We’re not safe unless we’re three scores up and 30 seconds left on the clock.

Wasps have completely changed Barbeary’s role at the lineout, getting him first onto the ball to start the maul drive. It’s getting momentum well.

Atkinson is having a belter. Charlie that is!

Wasps taking Robson off is a good idea. He’s such a mixed bag.

Just a bit of a turn around. Glos utterly dire in the 1st half got a break with the LRZ try and then their forwards got into the game and took charge. Really poor 2nd half effort from Wasps not to score a point.
Thought C Atkinson looked very good.

Distinct lack of everything from Glos in that first half, no energy, bad positioning, no support, just appalling. Good comeback tho.

Atkinson has certainly filled out over the summer thought he was a flanker for a second when he ran out. Might have just been a perspective thing with the camera but he certainly looked physical in the game as well. If he carries on like that he might end up on the radar of Eddie, particularly as he can drop into 15 and possibly 12 as well. Though the new Wasps 12 had a very strong debut which is nice (I'd tipped him for a good season).

Atkinson has been involved in Eng training hasn’t he?

Normal service resumed from Wasps. 21-0 up? Not remotely defendable for Wasps obvs.

Atkinson has always put himself about in defence, no concerns there. He's got nice skills too.

Only caught the game a bit on my phone. Would need to watch the second half again to get an idea of what went on, but unsurprisingly, I really don't want to

He went on an England training camp in the summer but hasn't played yet. Piers Francis went last time because he covered a couple of positions.

He's also into his third Premiership season now too, but looking really sharp.

He's developing well. As an occasional viewer he's definitely a different proposition to the one Wasps had a couple of years back.
