He seems to be coming on nicely, with potential in both second and back row. Apparently, he can even play 7.

That's 7 for Exeter though and they do back rows weird. Their 7 is more like everyone else's 8.

Reffell's still coming on leaps and bounds though.

I think we're looking at him as a 6 or second row, he's certainly not a 7, as you say it's just Exeter being weird. I think Reffell has proved his worth and is the incumbent at 7 for the moment at least.

We have several top quality sevens. Much more likely a lock or 6. Although a replacement for Faletau might be a good option some years down the line.

He’s coming along nicely. Blind side or no 8 in my view, or a very mobile lock. Got bags of talent and is a big unit as well. What’s not to like?!

Needs time to develop as his top level experience is limited but if we lose Lydiate for the AIs then I would expect to see him there or thereabouts the match day squad.
