having humiliated Cardiff, Glasgow lost (away) to Ospreys. Despite the woe is me stuff, it wasn't as bad as score suggests and a couple of very poor reffing decisions sealed it.
Still needed to do much better
And last night against last season's finalists (Bulls) they did. Outmuscled and outplayed them, not many would have withstood Glasgow last night. At east until the last quarter when they faded a bit, but the defence (system and tackling) was superb, as was the maul defence
And who lets Brace loose on professional rugby? Really is hopeless

his try was special of course

But he is still a bit inconsistent and sometimes a daft liability. He got caught too easily at the breakdown, turned over and they scored (1st try). Then his YC, yes he took on a much bigger guy but he held the guy on the floor and got some retaliation. Another time Horne might have been the only card, and his chopsing continued as the 2 ran off side by side, couple of bumps - I thought it was going to be a punch up. Really really needs to learn to button it

Huw Jones makes a come back. Seems a long way for him to get back into Scotland contention but it'd be massive for Glasgow to get him firing.

I thought Glasgow were supposed to be a bit shit on the way?
They're keeping that well hidden today.

40 to go. But this isn't usual Glasgow. Jones and a couple of others might break into the top XV but barring Steyn not one of the rest is guaranteed a start if everyone is fit/not rested

McKAy. Cancilliere Tuipoltou Johnson Steyn. Thomson Price
Kebble Brown Fargerson Cummings Gray Fagerson Dempsey Darge

bench
Turner Bhatti Walker Manjezi Brown Horne Jordan Jones arguably Glasgows top team

So... Glasgow B are better away from home than Glasgow A?

You might want to try that on the road a bit more

I think there’s a wee bit of changing of the guard this season. Ideal match for some to step up. Particularly pleased he’s kept McDowell in there. I think there’s a lot more to come from him. A World Cup bolter, no less!

How is McDowall getting on? Had very high hopes a while back but seemed to stall a bit?

Good to see Jones back playing. Definitely missed by Quins.

Their away form this season after the 1st game has been more nuanced, played some decent stuff
anything close to full strength Glasgow would put 40 over this Bath team

I think he’s doing ok - more consistent, and the level of consistency is higher. Getting the benefit of a few games in a row and now has Jones outside him.

aye, tidy win for the second stringers

So it'll be lots of changes for next week, looking to ensure a BP win against a hopefully disinterested USAP who lost at home to a poor Bristol team last night

if you thought that was classic Jones wriggles, I hope you watched today :D

Warriors beat current champions Stormers with a late BP try. Fabulous game to watch, terrific Glasgow performance. Only missing 13 through injury including Z Fagerson, Gray, Darge, Gordon, Cummings, Kebble, Walker, Thomson, Wilson, Manjezi, Pieretto, Walker

Just saw the highlights and looked like he had a hand in everything. Also, enjoying it which is nice to see from someone who has had so much disruption.

Clutching at straws here but any chance their defence looked good enough to suggest that pair could displace A N Other and Chris Harris?

Bath Rugby: 15 Orlando Bailey, 14 Max Ojomoh, 13 Ollie Lawrence, 12 Cameron Redpath, 11 Joe Cokanasiga, 10 Piers Francis, 9 Louis Schreuder; 1 Juan Schoeman, 2 Tom Dunn ©, 3 Johannes Jonker, 4 Will Spencer, 5 Fergus Lee-Warner, 6 Ted Hill, 7 Chris Cloete, 8 Miles Reid

Impact players: 16 Niall Annett, 17 Valeriy Morozov, 18 D’Arcy Rae, 19 Tom Ellis, 20 Richard de Carpentier, 21 Ben Spencer, 22 Matt Gallagher, Jonathan Joseph

THE OPPOSITION
Glasgow Warriors: 15 Josh McKay, 13 Sebastian Cancelli, 13 Sione Tuipuloti, 12 Huw Jones, 11 Kyle Steyn (c), 10 Tom Jordan, 9 Ali Price; 1 Jamie Bhatti, 2 Johnny Matthew, 3 Lucio Sordoni, 4 Alex Samuel, 5 Richie Gray, 6 Euan Ferrie, 7 Sione Vailanu, 8 Matt Fagerson

Replacements: 16 George Turner, 17 Nathan McBeth, 18 Simon Berghan, 19 JP du Preez, 20 Lewis Bean, 21 Thomas Gordon, 22 George Horne, 23 Duncan Weir

Redpath against Jones/Tuipulotu should be interesting in terms of the Scotland centre battle. Rae on the bench. No Bayliss/McConnochie but I can't say either of them particularly excite me.

Given their injury list apart from Benching Spencer (whom I think way over rated) that look close toas good as they can put out?

They could pick stronger at 15, 14, 9, 4, and potentially 8 and 10 (depending on your viewpoint). So it's not very weak, but there's been a bit of rotation.
