Thorley is injured but close to full fitness. Polledri is, in my opinion, still some way off being anywhere near full fitness. He’s getting there though, just slowly.

Polledri is bound to take time. He had a horrible period both on and off the field to get over.
I hope Thorley is fit and back to his best soon. Could be a 6N bolter on the left wing as Borthwick does like a ball carrying threat (often powerfully) there.
Good to see Cam Jordan getting game time. He was unlucky to be trying to force his way into the Tigers team with a number of outstanding lock/6s coming up behind him.

Willis scores, half beginning to wonder if England rugby would be better off encouraging international players to play abroad as one way to end the endless club v country battle.

Willis has slotted in after only a few days training, it seems. I just hope he gets to do the same for England - arguably our best No 8.

Thrilling win for Glos. They looked completely out of it at one stage. Val R-R was just terrific. Willis excellent for Bordeaux.

Man of the match had to be Laithwaites, though. That bloke was everywhere.

Tuisue immense off the bench again and changed the impetus. Up until then we were huffing and puffing but not getting a great deal of change.
The ref and TMO were something else though - way out if their depth. We were so dominant in the scrum it was comical and didn’t get a pen until it was nearly ‘no side’.
