Leinster v Gloucester Friday 8pm

Post by fivepointer »

Leinster: Keenan; O'Brien, Ringrose (capt), Ngatai, Lowe; R Byrne, McGrath; Porter, Kelleher, Ala'alatoa; Molony, Ryan; Doris, Van der Flier, Conan.

Replacements: Sheehan, E Byrne, Healy, McCarthy, Deegan, Gibson-Park, Sexton, Larmour.

Gloucester: Evans; Hearle, Kveseladze, Twelvetrees, Morris; Barton, Meehan (capt); Elrington, Walker, Knight; Thomas, Clark; Polledri, Clement, Tuisue.

Replacements: Blake, Seville, Gotovtsev, Craig, Taylor, Chapman, Atkinson, Moyle

Bit of chat about the Glos side, whether it devalues the competition and about the current structure.
I can see why Glos have put out the side they have, given their commitments in the League, but it would have been good to see them go with a full strength side.

Tbf to Glaws their first choice is probably going down by 30+, so choosing this as the game you give your regular picks a day off is pretty logical.

Good chance for the rotated guys to try and make a statement. Turn up in this game and then you've got a chance to make the next Prem 23.

Having Singleton and Balmain pick up injuries recently has probably put a damper on Skiv's plans to compete on all fronts as well.

Glaws frustrated Leinster early doors, made them work hard. Then the inevitable happened.
