Loader got into a terrible position. He could easily have made a proper tackle at waist height but chose to remain upright, so exposing himself to risk of head contact. I thought it was lamebrained stuff and he cant have any complaint. Parker later in the game was even more cretinous with his clearout.
I accept some players are unlucky but when you have time to consider your options to make a safe/legal challenge and you do something stupid, my sympathy evaporates.

Agreed. Was more about the point Kiss made about clubs training lower tackling technique. Someone earlier in this thread questioned why they didn’t but it seems they do.

More on tackle school, both WR mandated and club lead in todays Times:
‘Sinfield ran a tackling course with the Leicester Tigers centre Guy Porter and forward Ollie Chessum while at the club and World Rugby now use his approach as their blueprint.
“Anybody who worked with me at Leicester will know how hard we went after tackle height,” he said. “Our elite players will need to make some adjustments but we do understand as well that we will make mistakes along the way, as will the players. How we handle that is going to be really, really important. But we will work incredibly hard at it.”
