What the fuck is up with kockett's Popeye arm?
You can see why Exeter players are thick when they play for England, they seem pretty thick for their club. That period against 12 was lame as.

I think Exeter's biggest issue remains the significant lack of quality at SH ever since Nic White left - a classic example of realising how good he was when he was gone. The club seems to have an excellent batch of youngsters coming through but no SH among them. The shape of play starts with the 9 shirt. Playing against 12, for example, required quick ball to spread play wide beyond a defence's capacity to compete. Any SH who kicks or hesitates when the opposition are three short needs to be shot at dawn.

9 is a real issue. J Maunder is steady but doesnt have a breaking game. S Maunder is lively but takes too many poor options. Townsend is always injured.
They'll struggle next year due to the leavers not being replaced with similar quality.
Its a good time for a reset with a bit more emphasis on looking to play a more challenging attacking game.

Castres are an 'orrid side. Snarky, and Kockett is nominative determinism.

Good to see that the very reluctant abandoning of the racism has stuck: https://12ft.io/proxy?&q=https%3A%2F%2F ... -9b0mhhbzk

Is the tune (or style of tune at lest?) actually based in some Native American culture, or was it just an odd branding thing to call it that in the first place? I never really understood.

I don't know if it's directly from any Native American tradition, but it's definitely got its roots in mocking them by playing at an "Indian chant".Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 8:43 pm Is the tune (or style of tune at lest?) actually based in some Native American culture, or was it just an odd branding thing to call it that in the first place?
