Yeah seeing that Waller should have hit him.

You then going to cite everyone who pulls someone's finger back in a maul? Yes it's not on but a lot of stuff goes on like that in a game and unlike Clark, Weise let's go before anything actually happens.

Feels like this could get a bit tasty later on, a few scores still to settle...

Unbelievable from Ramm to take out the last two defenders

Yeah it's bubbling. Sleightholme's no arm tackle after Potter's kick led to a little reaction from Potter.

That try was very nicely worked but a big thing there was how Barnes saw that it was Waller standing up at the scrum and let Tigers play. Waller did similar earlier and got the penalty.

Ramm with a great offload for Saints there.

We've put the friendlier Waller on pretty early - I suspect to stop Alex doing something stupid

What's worrying as a Tigers fan is that Saints look more sync the longer the game goes on. We've not got much impact on the bench that isn't already on and with Pollard off we are looking a bit lost.

Pretty blatant neck roll right in front of Barnes. Come on Wayne, wake up.

Another entry to the 22 and still no idea of an attack past the driving maul

Tigers have only got themselves to blame here. So many errors in these last five mins, should have put the game to bed.

Far too much kicking for me. Game won thanks to a great offload by Ramm and neat finish by Sleightholme. Some good individual efforts and, on balance, Saints deserved winners.

Broken finger is a few weeks out, hyper extending someones knee/ankle would be 6+ months.

Punishment should match the crime. You risk someones limb, you should get a serious ban. It was obvious what he was doing, and if Waller had a big impact during the episode it could have ended horribly.

I think its a general oversight, I thought Lavinini should have been cited for his challenge on Hughes and LCD’s chops but border on the deliberate

Thought it was quite shit of the TMO not to check what happened to cause Waller's rage.

Saints needed that win. Wasn't the most exciting game in terms of open play for the most part, but pretty tense. Ramm is turning out to be a quality signing.

He did, he said Weise grabbed Waller's leg and then let go then they had a scuffle. Saints players running in were penalised.

Not what I heard. I heard Barnes ask him to check for a no arms tackle, which there wasn't. Then he penalised the players coming in. None of the replays shown before half time showed the incident, only those teed up by BT at the start of the second half.

What crime though? Weise let's go and Waller plays on perfectly fine for another 30 minutes. There was at least one blatant neck roll from each team during the game, they are far more dangerous and neither were penalised, reviewed and won't be cited. If Weise is cited it falls into the Marler ban category of actively encouraging players to react if they want decisions and that will take us down the football route.

Incidentally had Watson kicked off then Moon could have been in trouble for dropping both knees into him as he collected a bobbling ball. Wasn't even reviewed.

Not what I heard. I heard Barnes ask him to check for a high tackle, which there wasn't. Then he penalised the players coming in. None of the replays shown before half time showed the incident, only those teed up by BT at the start of the second half.
The high tackle request was after they'd ruled out anything from the Weise and Waller scuffle. TMO did review it pretty quickly so whether he'd have had a different opinion with more angles I don't know but probably not.

I've just watched it back on the BT Sport app. You're wrong. Barnes asks TMO to check for a no arms tackle. Nothing is mentioned about the twisting of the ankle. Healey mentions it in comms once Barnes/TMO have glossed over it. The first replay showing it is after the half time break.

I'm sorry but it's clear as day from the TMO, "it's just Weise pulling him onto him, there's nothing in it'. I've had to go back and find that. TMO reviewed it whilst Barnes was breaking up the scuffle. Barnes walks to his AR and says "I've got nothing", gets that response from the TMO and then Barnes says they are complaining about a no arms tackle or something to that effect and TMO checks I think it's Snyman on Furbank which is more of a push than a tackle judging from game speed but it did happen quick so understand the question.

The Weise one is weird. He’s basically just looking at the ground so I don’t know if he can really tell if Waller is trying to continue forward or not. Could be a legitimate attempt to complete the tackle, but it doesn’t look great as Waller is standing still and Weise is essentially just trying to bend his ankle the wrong way.

Is that it? I didn't see the game (stupid Sky box not recording), but I was expecting more given it was compared to Calum Clark on here. I can absolutely see why Waller apparently lost his shit, but that doesn't strike me as GBH on the level of Clark's in the slightest.

Wasn't much action and the two talking points were Waller going ape shit over this and Ramm only getting a yellow for trying to take Potter's head off.
