who will they replace in the current coaching set up?
Jon Clarke was previously Head of Conditioning, and he's already gone I believe.

Having seen England run out of steam Vs Scotland Walters could be an incredible addition.

Wigglesworth I'm not so sure about. I hope he's not going to be the attack coach of choice.

I assume this is a different Jon Clarke but got a real flashback to 2008-ish (maybe?) with the board clamouring for his selection.

I think it is ex Warrington and GB Rugby League hooker Jon Clarke.

Wigglesworth? I hadn't heard that. :P

I really do hope Evans is coming back again. You can already see his influence on England and I don't want it to be temporary.

I couldn't see WW as head coach at Leicester, so as a long-time Tigers' supporter it's a relief that he's going, which makes me think that the Leicester board must be very close to announcing their new man shortly. A stab in the dark, but maybe Vern Cotter?

Wiggy is down as leaving at the end of the season, so it doesn't have to be immediate replacement. I'd be overjoyed with either Cotter or Rennie if they're willing to come.

Agreed, but if the announcement of the appointment is made (hopefully with all assistant coaches for attack, defence, forwards, line out, purveyor of pork pies, etc, , and that he/they take(s) over at the end of the season (when Tigers will have retained their title!) then everything will be shipshape!

Pinchen has said they have nearly finished interviewing their shortlisted candidates. Be some negotiations after that but the process sounds like it's in its final phases.

Ravoucou confirmed at Bristol, if we can keep Semi then those two have potential for a great combination.

Just rumor at this point. I suspect he is off but I can dream for now.... Ravouvou, Semi & Naulago is a pretty exciting line up (if they can stay on the pitch)!

Really could do with a 10 to release them though....

I mean you have McGinty and Sheedy on the books. Two international flyhalfs not enough or is one leaving?

I was thinking Ravouvou would be a useful replacement for Semi at less than 50% of the contract value.

They both ok as 10's - but not sure many clubs would trade their 10s for them... neither offer much a threat to the line either being more of a ship it on or kicking game type of player.

Interesting as both have previous as attacking playmakers or at least having the skill to mix that into their game. McGinty at Connacht under Lam previously was a good example. Seems confidence is maybe a bit dented at Bristol.

Latest Tigers head coach rumours. Telegraph are reporting it's between Cotter and Chieka but out of left field has come the suggestion that Dan McKellar the former Brumbies head coach who joined Australia as an assistant last summer and who was widely tipped to takeover from Rennie post world cup could have been one of those interviewed.

MacGinty also had a good spell at Sale… but then he moved to Brizzle. I think injuries are his issue.

sort of get it-whether he nails an EPS squad place post RWC is moot, he's 27 with a bad back, so taking the cash seems sensible. Saints won't agree having invested in him as it were.

According to The Times, Rassie Erasmus is believed to be on the shortlist of candidates for the Leicester head coach vacancy but is towards/at the bottom of the list.
Cheika and Dan MacFarland are also on the list but the favourite is believed to be Dan McKellar, currently assistant coach with Oz.

It’s scandalous that Erasmus is on the list at all!
