As Wales have missed training sessions, they'll probably play much better than expected. Whereas we'll indulge in a Borthers boring kickfest and get beat.
word from camp is that pressure kick strategy as copywritten by FKAS is full underwritten and good to go.
If it's written by me then Freddie Steward on the crossfield kick will be replacing the grubber.

I went to micro bully Banquo some more and I am absolutely fucking sick of the 'board temporarily unavailable' thing.

Please can this be looked at.

I assumed this is just the traffic limits on a website that we've all basically been using for free for years and years? Or is it an actual bug?

Knowing nothing about this sort of stuff, I assume the new server struggles with traffic at peak times. Alternatively, it could be linked to how much porn you look at on your phone/tablet/laptop which would explain why Danno is struggling with it so much.

I have reported it to the higher ups and I assume there are investigations going on.

Tbh, I put in some money every month or so, as I use this place a hell of a lot and it's worth that to me.

Sounds like Watson in for OHC and Lawes in for Earl.

Can't say I'm overly excited by that but they've both been fantastic in the past. Isiekwe's spot is still just a bit of a mystery.

I feel sorry for Earl and Simmonds it’s almost like the flying flanker/no.8 is going the way of the small specialist openside. Maybe that’s just the nature of test rugby - opensides are getting even bigger if one looks at Pearson for example.

Having said all that I really like the Ludlam, J Willis, Dombrandt combo and think Willis looks like being in the same class as Back, Winterbottom and Tom Rees

BCurry in for Earl and Lawes for Isiekwe in the end.

I'll take that. I'm glad not Lawes straight back in at 6 and very happy for BCurry to get another shot - hopefully he gets a decent number of minutes. Arundell on the bench is decent as well - he's still so young and so inexperienced, that I'm glad we're not just tossing him in at the deep end when we do have a quality option like Watson available.

Good to see Curry instead of Isiekwe on the bench.

Let's hope wee Courtney remembers how to scrummage and doesn't have Vunipola staring him in the face as his head gets shoved between his legs.

Do feel a bit for Ben Earl. He's got 15 caps but hasnt started a game yet. Thats pretty tough.

The team is fine. Keeping changes to a minimum makes sense. Lawes coming in certainly adds to our bench. I would have like Arundell to start but understand why Watson picked. He's not exactly a poor option.

Telling that Lawes is the lock replacement. Wonder if Willis will be required to don a beret in the 2nd half again?

Earl has been pretty average off the bench. Successive coaches have had a look at Simmonds and decided against. Less about a trend, more about the individuals.

15. Leigh Halfpenny (Scarlets – 97 caps)

14. Josh Adams (Cardiff Rugby – 46 caps)

13. Mason Grady (Cardiff Rugby – uncapped)

12. Joe Hawkins (Ospreys – 3 caps)

11. Louis Rees-Zammit (Gloucester Rugby – 22 caps)

10. Owen Williams (Ospreys – 4 caps)

9. Tomos Williams (Cardiff Rugby – 42 caps)

1. Gareth Thomas (Ospreys – 18 caps)

2. Ken Owens (Scarlets – 88 caps) captain

3. Tomas Francis (Ospreys – 68 caps)

4. Adam Beard (Ospreys – 43 caps)

5. Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys – 156 caps)

6. Christ Tshiunza (Exeter Chiefs – 4 caps)

7. Justin Tipuric (Ospreys – 90 caps)

8. Taulupe Faletau (Cardiff Rugby – 97 caps)

Replacements

16. Bradley Roberts (Dragons – 3 caps)

17. Rhys Carre (Cardiff Rugby – 19 caps)

18. Dillon Lewis (Cardiff Rugby – 47 caps)

19. Dafydd Jenkins (Exeter Chiefs – 3 caps)

20. Tommy Reffell (Leicester Tigers – 6 caps)

21. Kieran Hardy (Scarlets – 16 caps)

22. Dan Biggar (Toulon – 105 caps)

23. Nick Tompkins (Saracens – 25 caps)

Interesting they've dropped both Reffell and Morgan, who I thought had been two of their better players recently.

I can picture Tompkins being used to run at Smith a lot when he comes on. That is a very inexperienced starting midfield for Wales though.

Is Owen Williams good or what? I sort of thought he'd disappeared.

How's he going to get any meaningful experience? Ten minutes off the bench at the fag end of an international isn't really much use to his development. To be honest, I'd rather he just stay at LI & play full matches.

I’m sure Morgan would make a good test 7 but really small for a no.8 at 5’ 11”. Also Reffell deserved to keep his place in starting XV imo (despite me being a big fan of Tipuric’s style)
