Comes out as bisexual

Hopefully to be met with a chorus of "meh, who cares"

More realistically hopeful would be a swell of support for him, and others still fearful of revealing their sexuality.

With Alfie, Nige and various rainbow bootlaces type initiatives, (not to mention huge strides in the last few decades) I would hope that the ground work has already been laid for rugby to not consider it a big deal.

ETA: To be fair, I'm delighted to say that the Bath fans' Facebook thread is a chorus of "meh, who cares" about 3:1 with messages of support, and absolutely nothing negative

It should be met with who cares, but until it universally does, it's a big deal. Hopefully it'll encourage many others until it does become a who cares moment.

Excellent to see a higher profile out bi man than myself in rugby (and I absolutely recognise having to qualify coming out with a reassurance to my teammates that I don't find them attractive ).

Good sign for both the sport and society to have a current pro player come out rather than worry about it tanking his career. A cynic might suggest he's even released it in the hope of increasing his profile after dropping to the Championship!

Nice reaction from his team mates. We're not at the "so what" stage yet but hopefully we're moving there.

The above was in my Twitter feed today, and a British player did the same after the British League's Pride weekend in January, so hopefully coming out is becoming more commonplace, and reactions are becoming more "meh, not fussed".

I wonder if the reaction to Folau has meant players can feel a bit safer in coming out?

Good on him for being bold enough to come out. Let’s hope for a positive reaction that leads to more having the comfort to do so.

X Factor Star Levi Davis, Blackmail, and the TV Boss

Byline Times reveals new WhatsApp messages and witness testimony on the reality star’s ‘sextortion’ by a leading TV executive, as a Labour Minister and former police chief demand a review of the investigation into his disappearance

...

In the 15-minute social media post the former Bath rugby winger told of being targeted by people he met after his 2019 appearance on X Factor: Celebrity who he alleged later drugged, raped, filmed, and then coercively controlled him for more than two years.

The 24 October 2022 post – which Levi sent separately to friends for safekeeping – was deleted after a day. In it, he told his 19,000 Instagram followers of “videos, in which they could get money from me, on the black market, on the black web.”

That's pretty grim. Time to expose and jail those involved.
