The herringbone floor effect is quite tasteful but agreed it isn't one that will live long in the memory unless Quins win some silverware in it.

*That's* our away shirt? Oh man, that's a great shirt! I thought we were going to get far worse!FKAS wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 12:12 pm https://shop.leicestertigers.com/tigers/2324201000001
Traditional logo in the background is slick.

Somebody really made an effort this year. Normally I'd have thought we'd have been lucky to get one of those shirts in a season.Puja wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 12:15 pm*That's* our away shirt? Nice to see the women's team will be getting the same match day shirts as well.

Agreed. I think this and Quins’ home jersey are very good.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 1:55 pmWay, WAY nicer than the home shirt horrorFKAS wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 12:12 pm https://shop.leicestertigers.com/tigers/2324201000001

The away shirt's nice. The home shirt is firmly in the category of "I guess it could be worse". It's got nothing bad about it, but also nothing much better than getting a white shirt from Tesco and applying a rose transfer to it.

England playing in white, with a little detailing in white is absolutely fine by me (I don't even mind some red or blue patterning under the armpit - ALA Fiji).
But it does mean you need a bit harder to make it look like it's not a £1 white t-shirt from poundland

There does seem to be some detailing around the sternum… which is apposite.

RWC kids shirts £95 for the authentic, £70 for 'replica'. mens £125 to £85, womens £85 to £80. weird.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 9:33 am England playing in white, with a little detailing in white is absolutely fine by me (I don't even mind some red or blue patterning under the armpit - ALA Fiji).

Re: Kits for the 2023/24 season
I'm still not a fan of the collar, but how much better is the women's shirt?

Tiny detail in the collar, a bit of detailing in the under-arm panel; and suddenly, I can't achieve an identical result with a £5 t-shirt, a £1 sheet of iron-on transfer and 1 minute on google images to get the logos.

Third season in a row that the woman have the better kit. It must be performance related design.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 3:42 pm I'm still not a fan of the collar, but how much better is the women's shirt?

Re: Kits for the 2023/24 season
Love this, for all the reasons stated above for England's women, and for Fiji

But I'll pass on this (take out the big plus sign, and the yellow around the collar, and I'd be far more tempted)

Those both look rather JB Sports unofficial range to me. Like the England men's home kit they've taken retro a bit to far and now look a bit cheap.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 9:44 am Love this, for all the reasons stated above for England's women, and for Fiji

The plus sign on the change strip is surely the Cross of St George to remind them who their superiors are.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 9:44 am Love this, for all the reasons stated above for England's women, and for Fiji

Re: Kits for the 2023/24 season

I... quite like that actually.
As ever, the advertising is too large, but that's just the modern world.
Beyond that, there's only so much you can do with hoops, and fortunately, we've had a fair few goes at proper, traditional (boring?) hoops over the last decade.

I don't think the sponsorship would look so glaringly big if the badge didn't appear to be so small.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 10:58 am

The hoops design actually looks pretty nice it's just a bit odd the way they've sized the various logos on there.

Re: Kits for the 2023/24 season
Even then, is the Bath logo small? or is it that the outer ring of blue is the same shade as the background hoop of blue, making it looks smaller than it is.
Either way, for me personally, the advertising is more prominent than I like; but I fully accept that that's a commercial reality, and Dyson aren't paying to have a tiny patch that doesn't catch the eye
