Best pubs for World cup watching

Post by canta_brian »

I'm in Southampton, never have found a reliable rugby watching pub here. Any thoughts on here for southampton, or for pubs in general that are worth a watch that others might recommend.

Cheers all.

AS WT says, any clubhouse. Totton, Millbrook or Southampton if you're in the West, Romsey north, Trojans or Eastleigh in the East. All of those will welcome you, should have a decent atmosphere and decent beer - though they may not be open for all of the games

Not a bad plan. Trojans is my side of town. Being a kiwi and having a French friend makes the 8th of Sept a big diary date

Take in a local sides match and watch the RWC after is a good plan.

It's what I plan every week the timetable allows
