Chile v Samoa - Sun (Sat GMT)

Post by Lizard »

This could be another cracker, or it might be Crash-To-Earth time for Chile. It depends how they take the Japan game and how much they left on the park.

The pick a load of ex all blacks/wallabies tactic doesn't seem to be paying dividends. Chile look the better team to me.

Samoa have been disappointing. If they cut out the mistakes they would be comfortable but they look like a team who haven't played together much.

And as I write that they score a cracking try

Completely different Samoa in the second half. They're smashing Chile.

And it seesaws again. Samoa are fucking everything up after being in total control.

Nothing there to trouble England. Samoa played well sporadically, as did Chile, but I don't see England giving them the breathing space both sides gave each other today.

Samoa just too big and powerful for the Chileans, once they'd sorted some of their looseness out.

Agree that we really shouldn't be sweating either of these, but having seen how much Portugal have pushed a very sloppy Wales, we shouldn't be too cocky.
